Innovation guide: How to start or improve a business.

We have decided to start this blog guide for those of you that would like to know how to start or improve a business. We have called this blog Innovation guide, reason being: Innovation = successful business.

Innovation is what starts a business; it is what keeps a business going, helps it to grow or helps it through the tough times. We haven’t found many people/ businesses that know how to be innovative, and therefore have started this blog.

To give a bit more clarity: the definition of innovation is the introduction of new things, ideas or ways of doing something (according to the Oxford dictionary). The definition of innovation in a business is a positive financial and organisational growth resulting from the ability to develop and deliver unique products, services and business opportunities.

Innovation within a business is what gives it a unique selling point and enhances its position within the industry. Innovation is not just new or unique products or services, but also improving current services or products.

As exciting as it sounds to change the way you do things in your business, or start your own business there is a lot of research and many challenges you have to face first. For this reason people tend to stay in their old ways, fearing the effort to change. In the articles to follow we will show you where to start, and how to proceed with becoming more innovative.
